Sold me "in stock" items that they did not have. Charged my credit card days after cancelling the orders. Don´t pick up the phone.

"I've been scammed and they took money from my credit card for a cancelled order. This company advertises in stock products they don´t have. They dismissed my complaints. I cancelled the order but they still charged my credit card. ACWholesalers took an order for a Daikin split Heat Pump set on 27th July. Both the web page and the order indicated the item was in stock. The representative I placed the order with confirmed that the item was in stock, and would be delivered no later than August 3rd. I also placed a second Internet order for accessories, also in stock. On August 1st I contacted the company. "Ricky" told me the split set was on back-order. I asked to talk to a manager and he refused. He said they were all too busy. I asked to be called back. "Rafael" called me the day after, to tell me the unit was on back-order, He had no reason for the delay of the second (accessories) order. He refused to send me other equal/better unit at same price on the basis that I "should not expect to get a Cadillac when I was paying for a Ford". Later that day he gave me a different explanation (the set I ordered had been discontinued). He offered alternative units at web price (no price match). He also could not justify why the policy of back-ordered products, which states "We will notify you by email to inform you of which items are on backorder and of their estimated ship dates. This email is sent within 1-2 business days of the order being placed", was not followed. I sent an email on Aug 3rd explaining my dissatisfaction and cancelling both orders in writing. I took time-stamped screenshots to follow up the order status and cancellation.
They cancelled the main order, but not the accessories. I called multiple times (records available) from 5th August to 7th Aug but they did not accept the cancellation by putting me on hold and/or pushing me through different departments. On August 8 they charged my credit card in the amount of $168.85 for a "partial shipment" of the second (accessories) order, even after providing instructions (by telephone and in writing) that the orders were cancelled. In the meantime I bought the same unit from a different merchant, who delivered in time, proving the unit was not in back-order nor discontinued.

Refused to refund after I returned unwanted item

"Their "customer service" is horrible. I had to call 4 times regarding a refund for a return in which I followed their absurd rules to the letter. One call I was put on hold for an hour, and the 4th call they actually hung up on me! I had to finally submit a dispute with my credit card company. "

"This company has got to be some sort of scam operation, they took my order for a Goodman GSX140361 and sat on it for 4 weeks with no contact, no progress, no updates, despite the item GSX140361 showing in stock and shipping within 1-2 business days, verbatim from the site:

In fact, I just called their customer service today to inquire about my order, again, and the item GSX140361 shows as:

84 In-Stock
Ships Wednesday, Aug 8th

Yet I was told today on the phone the item GSX140361 is back-ordered for 1-3 weeks. What?

False advertising and terrible service.

Goodman 2.5 AC System w/TXV

"Very happy with purchase from ACWholesale. Good price and easy order process. 3rd party delivery service Old Dominion I am not happy with. Promised delivery date and time was missed twice even after calling local Old Dominion in Bloomington, Ca to find out hold up. OD rep apologized for missed delivery date Fri. They rescheduled for early Sat delivery (7-9am) but by 10am I called again only to find out delivery was never scheduled. Was promised delivery between 11am and 2pm. By 1:45pm no delivery. Called again to get status and was told it should be at work site. Delivery was made at 2pm in 108 degree weather. Customer and my technician were not happy.

Great price, quick delivery

"Me and my AC guy found ACWholesalers on the web. Neither of us had ever used them. I bought a 3 ton AC, furnace, coil and refrigerant with a 10 year manufacturers warranty for just under $2,200 - much less than I was finding anywhere else. I paid with my credit card on their website. My order was shipped from Florida to Houston and I got it in 5 days - 2 days to process and 3 days in transit. The system was delivered right to my house and put in my garage. Delivery was on time and painless. We installed the system yesterday with no issues whatsoever. I received everything as ordered and the system is working perfectly. I'm really impressed with my experience with ACWholesalers and will be using them when I replace my other HVAC system. I've already referred them to a friend. "

"I ordered a Broan Big Heater. They processed my order 2 weeks after I ordered it, wow! It arrived 4 weeks after ordering it. The heater (it's an electrical item) was thrown in a big 4 times to big with "ABSOLUTELY ZERO" packing. The shipping box was smashed/damaged, the heater was allowed to bang around inside the shipping box. The heater box is damaged also. Know, I'm worried that if I plug the heater in it will start a fire in my RV and "KILL" me and my family.
This company has ZERO respect for the customers items or customers life's. I called, was hung up on as soon as I said: I want to return my item! If customer service treats customers like this. Then why would you spend your hard earned dollar to keep this people employed? I will be writing more reviews and posting pictures!

Great Experience & Product

"My coil broke down and since my AC is 20 years old it was time to replace the coil and condenser at the same time. The quotes I received from AC companies ranged from $3500-5000! I decided to buy it myself on ACWholesalers.com and paid a licensed installer for labor and I ended up saving between $1,000-2,500! Their website also provides installers you can hire just for labor. 1 company told me it's not allowed for installers to only install without buying the unit from them. Don't listen to them and do your own research to save $. Also Jay who was the customer rep that helped me did a great job helping me pick out the right size. I highly recommend them! "

waste of time

"I ordered a mini ductless multi system and when the estimated arrival time came and passed I called and was told one of the items in order was on backorder. When about a week later that date passed, I called again and was told a different item was on backorder than the original one on backorder and would be about another week. At this point, I just told him to cancel it as it is taking too long and too much frustration and inconsistency. I was told the order was cancelled and would receive confirmation email. I never received that email so I emailed customer service there giving them order details telling them to cancel. They never cancelled or responded to email.

I checked back for several days and noticed my order online still active, no cancellation then one day I check and the backorder status shows "ready to ship" and I get a call from someone there which I let go to voicemail. It appears they tried to simply ignore my order cancellation and push it thru. Luckily during this time I removed my credit card from their system and reported credit card lost so they wouldn't be able to try and fraudulently charge it. They only did a pending charge initially when I ordered which quickly passes after a few days. Luckily I wasn't charged or out anything and after I changed my name to "cancel it" online they eventually deleted the order from their system. I guess they don't have a cancel option like every other shopping cart system around.

If you wish to have an experience like mine, I think this company will be a great option for you!
